As a therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and an AMFT credential, I believe therapy begins with creating a space where you feel respected, understood, and free to be yourself. I strive to offer a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore what you are experiencing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My work is grounded in a person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach. I recognize that each individual brings a unique story shaped by their relationships, culture, experiences, values, and personal strengths. Rather than assuming there is one path to healing, I work collaboratively with you to understand what feels meaningful and helpful.
I view our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and past experiences as interconnected. In therapy, we can explore patterns that may be getting in the way, build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, and develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and resilience.
Whether you are navigating a major life transition, experiencing relationship or family challenges, or making sense of loss and change, therapy can offer a supportive place to work through what you are carrying. Sessions may be weekly or bi-weekly depending on your goals and circumstances, with the flexibility to adjust as your needs evolve. You do not have to figure everything out on your own.
