Sanjeev Balarajan

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

If you're an adult or teen who feels like you're not thriving, I can help. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or grief, navigating difficult relationships, coping with major life transitions like divorce, separation, or career changes, dealing with cultural conflicts, or trying to heal from past trauma, I can support you in finding a path forward.

Diverse experiences have shaped my path to becoming a therapist. As an immigrant with a background in engineering and business, I've had a successful career in technology while coaching and mentoring many individuals. Along the way, I’ve been part of growth-focused communities that exposed me to a wide range of perspectives and tools. This journey, combined with my formal training in counseling psychology, allows me to draw on both personal and professional insights. It also gives me a deep appreciation for each individual’s unique journey and cultural differences, leading me to approach my clients with humility. During my training, I had the privilege of working with individuals aged 12 to 60+ at both a middle school and a community college.

My therapy approach is integrative and personalized. I believe that each person is unique, so therapy should be holistic and tailored to their individual needs and current life situation. Working from a trauma-informed perspective, I use methods like IFS and Brainspotting to help clients process trauma effectively.
