Trisha Marie Gopez Aquino

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Have you been finding yourself facing a lot of life challenges and finding it frustrating on where to start? You’re probably feeling like you might have a lot on your plate or finding life has been overwhelming lately. You might have been feeling chaos within your personal life, but you’ve noticed the external world has been difficult to face as well. You need your life to change enough to the point where you feel like yourself again. It might have even reached a point where you know you need help, but you don’t really know where to start.

From there, I can help. I became a therapist because I have had personal experience feeling stuck and not knowing what to do with myself. I have endured my own grief, depression, and other traumas over the years as a child to Filipino American immigrants. I was led to my high education experiences to understand mental health and how to support people through mental health issues and all of life’s struggles. Be it through anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship issues, academic issues, grief, or other life challenges, I have supported many individuals to not only understand themselves better, but build themselves up where they feel satisfied with their lives and learn how to cope with the ongoing challenges in their lives.

Together, we can work towards building an understanding of yourself that promotes an overall better sense of wellness and healing within your life. You’re already doing an important thing by even considering seeking out support. It starts from there. With every session we’ll have, we’ll look into the underlying patterns within your life challenges and identify ideal coping mechanisms that suit you best. In time, you’ll realize that you’ve always had the strength to get to that sense of change that you’ve always desired and I will be more than happy to support you to get where you want to be.
