You may be going through a difficult time in your life. Do you feel lonely, exhausted, or lost? Do you feel like you keep getting hurt in your relationships, wondering why the same painful patterns repeat over and over again? Are you afraid of losing your job or failing? Do you work hard, yet still find yourself questioning whether you are good enough.
I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to struggle and I know the deep helplessness of not knowing if life will ever get better.
I was born in poverty and experienced rejection and being looked down upon. As a teenager, I went through some very difficult times. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the challenges of rebuilding our life in a new country and finding a sense of belonging. I have also experienced profound loss, including losing my twin daughters in midlife, as well as the challenges that come with work, family, and intimate relationships.
Fortunately, when I needed support the most, there were people who reached out and stood by me. Their kindness helped me heal and find my way forward. These experiences are at the heart of why I chose to become a therapist.
As a therapist, my wish is to offer you the same safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space that I once needed myself. You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Together, we can slow down, gently understand what you are going through, and find a path forward that truly works for you.
If you would like to take the first step, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
