Life can be hard and seeking help is a brave step. Many of us carry anxiety, stress, or sadness, struggle with work or relationships, and want a life that feels more fulfilled. I believe change, healing, and growth are possible, and that they begin when a person feels genuinely heard.
I came to this work in midlife. After many years in executive leadership and building technology companies, I began to question how I wanted to spend the second half of my life, and what would make it meaningful. That question ultimately led me to become a therapist.
My clinical training includes crisis intervention work and a community mental health agency, where I worked with clients from a wide range of ages, cultures, socioeconomic and personal backgrounds.
My approach is person-centered and relational, informed by trauma-sensitive and mindfulness-based practice. I listen closely, move at your pace, and bring in practical tools when they help.
I especially welcome working with adults facing major transitions: divorce or separation, career change or burnout, grief and loss, and the search for meaning in midlife. I came to the United States as a teenager to attend college, so I know something about what it is to live between cultures and expectations. I work with South Asian and immigrant clients, as well as couples, families, and teens working through relationship difficulties and big changes.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. If you’re ready, I’d be glad to talk.
