Our well-being can be disrupted by many factors in life –you are not alone in this experience. You might be navigating personal challenges, how to reach your desired goals, or how to uncover your purpose. As a therapist, I strive to create a non-judgmental, safe space where you can explore all parts of yourself, heal, and grow at your pace.
I get the need to be understood in your cultural and environmental context, so I approach every client holistically. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. Ultimately, I am committed to supporting clients in making meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.
My personal childhood experiences and my own journey of healing led me to the field of mental health. In recent years, I have worked with youth and adults with PTSD, anxiety and depression, anger, grief and loss, parenting and relationship issues, OCD, and immigration and acculturation concerns. I have provided crisis intervention and psychoeducational trainings and worked in school-based settings and in community mental health, offering therapy services in both English and Spanish.
I utilize different interventions personalized to your needs that draw from evidence-based treatments –an eclectic approach based on your needs and personal goals.
