Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.
Being in therapy is a brave and vulnerable process, and finding a therapist who really sees and understands you is essential to being able to show up as you are, however you are. As we move through our lives, we gain a deeper understanding of our patterns and interests, who we are, and who we want to become. Therapy offers a rare space for honest, nonjudgmental exploration of that journey.
In my practice, I honor the unique identities, lived experiences, and cultural contexts each client brings. Sometimes that means drawing on ancestral wisdom and cultural roots to ground us. Other times, it means working to disrupt destructive intergenerational cycles and imagining new ways of being. Through this balance, we build insight, flexibility, and the tools needed to live more intentionally and authentically.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also integrate techniques from other modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. I have experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma (including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse), grief, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration. I am a Muslim, Egyptian woman, and I bring this perspective, alongside my professional training, into the therapy space.
If you're ready to begin or continue your healing work and are curious whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a session with me. I look forward to connecting with you.
