Sara Jones
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Therapy is a collaboration between the client and the therapist with the client as the driver and the therapist as the passenger. The therapist can act as a guide to help you make the changes you desire for your life. Having the desire to become an even better version of yourself creates a strong foundation for personal exploration and growth. In therapy, you should have the freedom to explore yourself and your relationships, both in the present and the past, and to use me as a mirror for self-reflection. It is important that you feel that we have a foundation of trust, understanding, and connection so you can be completely honest
I believe that the process of therapy can help us all become who we were meant to be, regardless of age or life circumstances. We all feel stuck at times, not knowing which path to take in life. I believe that through greater self-awareness you will trust yourself to make the right decisions for your life.
I believe in my clients’ resiliency and capacity for true change. Together we will help you work toward your goals and what matters most to you. With increased self-awareness, vulnerability, and healing, life, and your personal relationships have the potential to become more fulfilling and gratifying as you become your most authentic self.
