Elisa Alvarez
LICENSED Clinical Social Worker
Are you feeling down, have a lack of motivation, overwhelmed, feeling stuck, struggling to see the glass is half full, and have a difficult time understanding your feelings or emotions? Many individuals, including myself, have had these feelings. This can be very unsettling, confusing, and just generally uncomfortable. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, your feelings, past traumas, obstacles and help achieve the goals that you have.
Growing up in a large Mexican American family, mental health and overall feelings were not discussed. However, throughout my life, I have experienced traumas and major life changes which came with their own set of feelings and questions. I understand what it is like to feel upset, confused, lost. I want to help people understand their traumas, themselves, and how their thoughts can impact their actions and feelings. My life experiences and perseverance have allowed me to help others in times of need. It is my goal to help you achieve your goals in a collaborative, non-judgmental, and gentle fashion. If you are dealing with life stressors, anxiety, or depression call or email me to set up your first appointment and let’s get you where you want to be.
