Linda Rachel Magnusson

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Linda Rachel Magnusson, AMFT

Hi, I’m Rachel Magnusson. I specialize in working with teens and adults who are looking for support while dealing with life changes/transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, anger, chronic illness, and grief. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to who really understands, I’m here for you. As your therapist, I’m here to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe that everyone is on their own unique journey, doing the best they can with what they have.

My goals are to help you uncover your resilience and grow your coping skill set. In my practice, I bring a range of clinical skills to help you on your journey. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for managing negative thoughts, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help you stay grounded, and Trauma-Informed Care to address past experiences in a safe and supportive way. My approach is centered on creating a space where you feel respected and understood, with culturally sensitive care that honors your unique background and experiences. Together, we’ll work on building resilience, finding new perspectives, and uncovering hope.

I’m passionate about mental health because I believe in the power of human connection and the resilience of the human spirit. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing my clients discover their own strengths and begin to heal. I’m committed to walking alongside you, offering not just my professional skills, but also a genuine, compassionate partnership on your path to wellness.
